Come and join us for a fun and relaxing workshop where you’ll create your very own handmade mug! No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a desire to explore your artistic side.
Using the pinching and the coiling technique, you’ll craft your mugs in a meditative, grounding process that’s perfect for beginners and those curious about working with clay. It’s a fantastic way to learn and connect with the material while creating something truly unique.
What’s Included
* 2 Hours of Creative Fun: Enjoy a hands-on pottery session with me.
* Clay Basics: Learn how to handle, store, and shape clay.
* Hand-Building Skills: Discover the art of crafting unique ceramic pieces from scratch.
* Finished Pieces: Create 1-2 ceramic mugs, which we will glaze, fire, and have ready for pickup in 3-5 weeks.
What to Bring
This is a low-mess, hand-building class, but we recommend:
* An apron or old t-shirt to protect your clothes.
* Trimmed nails for easier handling of clay.
* Tied-back hair for comfort during the session.
Materials and Tools Provided
* Clay & Glaze: Enough clay for up to two coffee mugs per person. Choose a studio glaze for your pieces at the end of the session.
* Tools: All the pottery tools you need will be provided.
Note: Each participant can fire up to two mugs. Additional pieces cannot be processed.
Workshop Details
* Location: EN CERAMICA, Solmsstrasse 30, 10961 Berlin
* Duration: 2 hours, including 10 minutes for cleanup.
* Experience Required: None—perfect for beginners!
* Group Size: Up to 8 participants per session.
* Collection: Your mugs will be ready for pickup 3-5 weeks after the workshop. You’ll receive an email once they’re ready. Please collect them within 3 weeks of notification, as we cannot store pieces for longer.
